I retired to Sandbank Dunoon Scotland to a property overlooking the beautiful Holy Loch over 9 years ago from North Wales. I converted part of the annexe of the house into a work shop to enable me to carry out my passion of woodturning and wood carving Nothing can be more satisfying than creating a work of art from a piece of wood, it can be very therapeutic and rewarding. It is also nice to have a challenge, when asked to create something to a customer’s specification. Trees are one of nature’s most useful and recyclable creations, which can be transformed into beautiful and stunning pieces of art. I prefer to create my pieces from wood sourced mainly Scotland such as, Beech, Oak, Sycamore, etc. My turned items have many practical applications for use around the home or office and as gifts. they range from items such as personal gifts, Jewellery Boxes, wood and Glass Bowls, For the Home, Cheese Boards, Candle Holders, Clocks, For the Office, Fountain Pens, Desk Calendars, Speciality gifts Larger items such as Wooden Mirrors, Foot stools and Table lamps and many more.
