Laura is a Scottish artist, who was born in Greenock and spent the first 10 years of her childhood living on the Isle of Bute; before moving to England with her family.
In 2020 Laura moved back to her spiritual home and is now living permanently in Colintraive on the West Coast of Scotland, just a short ferry trip from Bute. Laura now devotes her time to her art following her retirement from a career in Health and Safety.

Laura’s main focus is abstract landscapes and fluidity and colours within nature, taking inspiration from her home on the Kyles of Bute with both the land and the sea for inspiration. Working with both palette knifes and bushes, she has mastered her distinctive techniques over the past several years.

Her accumulated knowledge of fluid dynamics has allowed her to exploit differing consistencies within her paints; whilst incorporating a diverse range of pouring mediums to achieve eye catching results.
