The remote West Coast of Scotland, where Norman lived for many years, provided the artistic inspiration for landscape, seascape and woodland artwork.

After studying architecture at Glasgow School of Art with art study contained within the course, Norman pursued further art development tutored by art school and professional artists.

Norman has been painting for many years having developed a flexible free style of discipline in a variety of subjects and art medium and has exhibited in various galleries throughout Scotland.
