Marie Clare first started making jewellery when she was young, at the age of 13. She started by making beaded jewellery for friends and family and from then she knew the path she had choose to follow in her career.

She studied at Cardonald College, Glasgow for four years. In her first year, she studied in Applied Arts that involved textiles, ceramics and jewellery. She then received her National Qualification. Marie Clare’s last three years were then spent studying jewellery and she received her National Qualification and Higher National Diploma. She also received an award for Highly Commended by HS Walsh & Sons, who have been the leading suppliers of tools and equipment for jewellers for many years.

Marie Clare’s handmade designs are unique, often inspired by nature and using natural materials such as freshwater pearls, semi-precious stones, through to sterling silver and other various metals. She takes on commissions for bespoke jewellery such as engagement rings, wedding bands and a wide range of other jewellery.
