Morag Archer is a mixed media artist with a studio on the wild north eastern coastline of the beautiful Scottish Isle of Skye. Born and brought up in northern Scotland, her work is very much influenced by her love of wild landscapes, seascapes and wild flowers. A graduate of Edinburgh College of Art, she originally trained as a tapestry weaver. This love of tactile, colourful materials led her into the world of collage and mixed media. Morag’s work uses a cornucopia of materials, torn paper, acrylic paint, textiles, thread and dimensional paint.
